Hey man,
I started like anyone else... With a tube reel to reel recorder that I got from someone selling house stuff on the street. It was a kick ass little tape machine, way older than me.
I recorded everything I could possibly record with that thing. My dad played drums in a band so there were a lot of instruments around.
Like bass and guitar and drums and a keyboard like a Rhodes or wurly type thing.
I would record my little sister reading stupid radio play type things and edit them.. I was splicing together crazy stories when I was 9!
Nothing digital existed then.... I am in my forties and everything changed like crazy in my lifetime.
I never went to recording school. I just recorded things all the time, my whole life. That's the only way to get good at it,really.

comence como todo el mundo... con una maquina de cinta de tubos que compre en una casa que estaban vendiedno cosas en la calle. era un maquinita del p*tas mucho mas vieja que yo.
Grababa todo lo que pudiera con esa cosa. mi papa tocaba bateria en una banda entonces siempre habia instrumentos en la casa. como un bajo un rhodes o un wurly (Wurlitzer). grababa a mi hermanita diciendo cosas estupidas como una radionovela y despues las editaba. estaba cortando cinta y creando historias a los 9! no existia nada digital en esa epoca...... estoy en mis cuaretas y todo ha cambiado de una forma loca durante mi vida. nunca fui a una escuela para grabacion, solo grababa cosas todo el tiempo, toda mi vida lo he hecho. Es la unica forma de volverse bueno, en serio.
